Heh folks
I have been doing my CA internship with a mindset of being inferior to the work of others doing practical audits. But I took time to understand that both the work are nevertheless inferior to each other. What makes me take a nod is that when students dont really take to internship and place themself a dummy. A dummy is a student who registers himself under an auditor but does not work under him to complete the required hours per week. It makes me feel that the student opts dummy becasue he is either
1. afraid of failing the exams
2. lazy to attend work
3. fickle to handle pressure
4. enjoys leisure more than work
But all the above are not worthy reasons for a student skipping Internship. Infact it is the only route for him to learn work of any sort. Knowledge is useless if it is not shared. And you have a moral obligation to share it when you have acquired it.

hey buddy i completed my CPT in 2007 in first attempt still not joined internship as i was eligible because i was studying in college. i was not applicable, i did not go for a dummy either chose to wait. U'got a valid point there. I agree with u.
